Common questions

How do I link with my partner?

In Activity, tap Invite My Partner, then Share Invite. Your partner opens the link, or taps I Have a Code and types the 8-character code. Codes work once and expire after 24 hours.

My partner isn’t getting notifications.

On their phone, open Settings › Notifications › Activity and make sure notifications are allowed. Focus modes can also hold them back.

How does a nudge work?

After a Not Now, a nudge asks again, with a star. Your partner still answers Yes or Not Now, and a Not Now to that is final. Your partner chooses how many you get each month, and you choose theirs, from none to five in Settings › Nudges. Everyone starts with none, and they reset on the first.

Can I turn nudges off?

They’re off until you choose. In Settings › Nudges, set your partner to None anytime, and it takes effect right away: your Not Now is then always final. Your partner decides separately whether you get any.

Can I add a note to my answer?

Yes. In the app, type in Add a note before tapping Yes or Not Now. From the lock screen, hold the notification and choose Reply with a Note…, which answers Not Now. Notes can be up to 80 characters.

Can I delete something from History?

Swipe left on a finished request and tap Delete. It’s removed for both of you. A request that’s still open can’t be deleted.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Open Settings › Export Data to save or send a copy of everything Activity keeps about you: your account, your partners, and every request, answer and note.

Can I change how the app looks?

Yes. Open Settings › Home Style and pick Default, Dark or Pop Art. It changes straight away, and only on your phone.

How do I send feedback?

Open Settings › Send Feedback, write your message, and add your email if you’d like a reply. You can also email us.

Which email did I use to sign in?

If you signed in and Activity looks brand new, with no partner and no history, you’ve most likely signed in the other way. Nothing is lost: in Activity, open Settings › Sign Out, then sign in with the other button. The sign-in screen says which one you used last. If you used Apple, your iPhone shows the exact address, even a private one from Hide My Email: open the iPhone’s Settings › your name › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple › Activity. If you used Google, it’s the address of that Google account.

How do I unlink?

Open Settings in the app and tap Unlink.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings › Delete Account. Everything is removed right away and can’t be undone.
